Marisa has completed her Pre-doctoral Internship at the APA-accredited Chestnut Hill College Consortium at Rider University’s College Counseling Center, offering solution-focused therapy to college students presenting with a wide range of mental health conditions.
Marisa has experience in providing evidence-based assessments and interventions, serving clients across the developmental lifespan. She adopts an integrative therapeutic approach, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique needs. She is trained in various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and exposure-based treatments. Her clinical expertise encompasses mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, ARFID, BDD, and a variety of eating disorders.
Marisa has a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic style. She is committed to working collaboratively with her clients, maximizing their strengths, and helping them develop tools to lead a values-driven life.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying active, and baking.
