Kristin Mack, Psy.D.

Dr. Kristin Mack (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the CBT Center for Anxiety & OCD and Certified School Psychologist. She earned her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Widener University. While at Widener, she completed the school psychology certification and trained in numerous Evidence-Based Treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Dr. Mack has experience successfully treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), social anxiety, OCD, Panic Disorder, specific phobias, separation anxiety, PANS/PANDAS, tics, emetophobia, trichotillomania, trauma and Posttraumatic-Stress Disorder (PTSD). Additionally, Dr. Mack has developed special interests in working with selective mutism, survivors of violent and non-violent crimes, and first responder’s mental health. She has specialized training in the use of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and mindfulness-based practices.

Dr. Mack has experience working with individuals across the developmental lifespan in a multitude of clinical settings including outpatient practices, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, schools, college counseling centers, and social services agencies. She operates using a variety of systems that espouses a holistic, integrative approach to client care. She works from an empowerment lens encouraging clients to have an active and collaborative role in their treatment.

Kristin enjoys going to the gym, cooking, baking, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and playing with her cats, Franny & Theo. In her spare time, Kristin has fun brushing up on her Spanish speaking skills.
