Dr. Josiana “Josie” Cetta (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at the CBT Center for Anxiety & OCD with over 15 years of experience in the field. She earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in School Psychology. Dr. Cetta is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and is a PSYPACT Authorization Holder, allowing her to provide teletherapy interjurisdictionally within participating states.

 

Dr. Cetta delivers a warm, collaborative, strengths-based approach to treating clients who struggle with anxiety, OCD, trauma, learning differences, school related issues and sleep. She helps children, adolescents, adults and families to feel empowered to face their worries, anxieties and fears. Dr. Cetta also has extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals with autism and ADHD. Her mission is to enable individuals and families to better understand themselves, to develop a stable sense of self, and to harness their own inner strength. Dr. Cetta utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Exposure Therapy with Response Prevention (ERP), EMDR, and social skills training with supplemental materials.

 

Dr. Cetta acts as a guide to teach you what works best for you and often finds that her clients are her greatest teachers. When working with children, Dr. Cetta strongly encourages parents to be involved in their child’s treatment to empower parents to better understand their children’s needs. She believes in the importance of family involvement and in strengthening one’s support system using psychoeducation and communication strategies. In her free time, Dr. Cetta enjoys spending time outside, being with family and friends, and cooking.
