Jennifer Caplan, B.A., B.S., is a doctoral candidateat Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology. Jennifer has aconcentration in child, adolescent, and family therapy as well as a concentration in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Jenn has experience working at Children’s Crisis Treatment Center and Widener Adult Psychotherapy Clinic. She has worked with children and families at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children utilizing parent-training interventions, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Jenn has experience treating gifted individuals, separation anxiety, food selectivity issues and generalized anxiety among other anxiety conditions.
Jenn is a friendly,supportive, and easy-going person. She places an emphasisonthe therapeutic relationship as well as one’s personal strengths and values. As a pediatric specialist,Jenn has a passion for helpingkids andteens achieve theirgoals and overcome challenges within a warm and compassionate environment. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and baking sweets.
