Ebony Johnson, M.A., LPC, is an Advanced Doctoral Extern at the CBT Center for Anxiety & OCD. She is a 4th year Doctoral candidate at Immaculata University’s Psy.D program in Clinical Psychology. Previously, Ebony earned a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. She has past experience working as a clinician at Rogers Behavioral Health in their Anxiety and OCD program. While there, she helped developed Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) treatment plans and assisted her clients in implementing their individual exposure and response prevention goals. Ebony has worked with adults and teenagers in college counseling centers, psychiatric hospitals and partial hospitalization day programs. All of these experiences have allowed Ebony to be a skilled clinician in treating OCD, depression, eating disorders and anxiety disorders. She believes that therapy should be a place where all are welcome and feel safe to tackle some of life’s biggest challenges together.
