Dr. Carly Doucette, Ph.D., CSP, is an Advanced Postdoctoral Fellow at the CBT Center for Anxiety and OCD. She received her Doctorate from the Pennsylvania State University in School Psychology. She specializes in working with young children, adolescents and young adults with social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, trichotillomania, ADHD, depression, trauma and learning differences. Additionally, Dr. Doucette has extensive experience working with gifted individuals. She is well-versed in a variety of Cognitive Behavioral interventions including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). She is experienced in direct social skills instruction, behavior modification planning and Parent-Child Interaction Training (PCIT), a structured approach with the aim of increasing positive parent-child interactions.
As a Certified School Psychologist (CSP), Dr. Doucette has vast knowledge regarding school systems, special education and disability law. She has extensive knowledge and training in providing and interpreting psychoeducational evaluations. She works closely with parents, teachers, and school counselors to provide consultation and direct support. Dr. Doucette is a warm and highly empathetic therapist who sees the good in everyone. She ultimately aims to create a warm and safe therapeutic space for her clients and families to accept themselves and grow in their ability to address life’s challenges.
In her free time, Carly enjoys cooking, hiking, crocheting, gardening, spending time with family and her German Shepard dogs.
