
Jasmine Yi, M.Ed., is an Advanced Doctoral Extern and fourth-year doctoral student in School Psychology at Temple University, where she also earned her M.Ed. in School Psychology. Jasmine has extensive pediatric experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. Through her experience and education, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of education systems thereby allowing her to be well versed in collaborative therapist-school methodology and best-practice therapeutic and educational accommodations.
Jasmine has received instruction on a breadth of evidence-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), social skill intervention, Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for adolescents (DBT-A) and children (DBT-C). Knowledge of these modalities have given her skill in treating a wide range of presenting problems including anxiety, OCD, panic, phobias, trauma, social anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, Autism and depression, among others. Jasmine has utilized CBT principles to design and implement individual and group counseling programs. Her clinical interests center around providing culturally responsive care to children and adolescents while supporting critical family needs.
In her free time, Jasmine enjoys working out, arts and crafts, and cheering for the Philadelphia sports teams.
