
Master’s Level Clinician
Julia Ney, M.A., is a Masters Level Clinician at the CBT Center for Anxiety and OCD (CCAO). Julia is a Doctoral candidate at Temple University’s Ph.D. Program in Clinical Psychology. At Temple University, Julia works with international pediatric anxiety specialist, Dr. Philip Kendall in the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorders Clinic (CAADC), which focuses on research, treatment, and dissemination of evidence-based treatments for youth with anxiety disorders. As an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, Julia is interested in exploring the role of peer-to-peer advice giving after treatment for anxiety disorders. Julia’s previous research positions in positive psychology and the dissemination of evidence-based treatments continue to influence her clinical practice.
Julia has experience working with children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, and mood disorders, and uses cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and dialectical-behavioral (DBT) approaches to treatment. She is committed to providing evidence-based care and collaborates with her clients and their caregivers to develop treatment plans that are strengths-based and goal-oriented.
