Brian Moran

Brian Moran, Psy.D.

Dr. Brian Moran is a psychologist at the CBT Center for Anxiety and OCD. He earned his doctoral degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Clinical Psychology program specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). His dissertation research examined the role of self-compassion across various dimensions of adolescent well-being. Most recently, he completed his pre-doctoral internship at Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital in Fort Washington, PA, where he focused on delivering evidence-based treatments, including Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to adolescents and adults suffering from severe mental health issues.


Dr. Moran also has extensive research and clinical experience with children, adolescents, and adults. He has provided therapeutic services in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient facilities and schools. Brian has experience treating clients with a range of presenting problems including various anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, body dysmorphic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Brian is passionate about helping clients confront challenging issues in their life and cultivating resilience through individualized treatment interventions in which he seeks to bolster clients’ self-confidence and ability to relate to themselves in a compassionate manner during difficult times.  In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and their Boston Terrier, and playing golf.
